La Gramigna Brewery was founded in 2016 in Casa del Diavolo, a small village situated in the Tiberina valley (Perugia), by two friends united by a strong passion for beer and agriculture.
In 2013, we started experimenting homebrewing with a 50-liter home-made plant in order to test processes and raw materials such as water, malt, hops and yeast.
The blending of the agricultural and the brewery world allowed us to create a product which is deeply linked to our territory and completely traceable. The experience gained through many years of production of Polistic Barley has, indeed, challenged us to grow beer barley by experimenting the first European and American varieties of hops that have adapted well to our climate. Therefore, we restored an old agricultural warehouse and turned it into a beer laboratory with an adjoining retail and tasting area.
The passion and dedication that we put in the production of our beer aims to create awareness in the consumer about the drink’s taste and manufacturing process.
